Fractional odds

A page for every traditional fractional price: evens, 10/11, 5/2, 100/30 and the rest of the ladder. Decimal and American odds, probability and payouts.

Reading fractional odds

The top number is the profit, the bottom number the stake: 5/2 wins 5 for every 2 staked. Prices below evens (4/6, 8/11) are odds-on; prices above (2/1, 5/2) are odds-against. Bookmakers use a traditional ladder rather than every possible fraction, which is why 6/4 is quoted instead of 3/2.

Every price

The list follows the ladder from the shortest odds-on prices to 1000/1.
